Over the winter season the KMC hosts a series of lectures, talks and slideshows.
The talks are given by a mixture of club members and external speakers.

Everest vs. Annapurna III

This was the KMC 2006 Black Memorial Lecture.

Ian presented a new lecture contrasting his recent ascent
of the North ridge of Everest "The World's most Ludicrous Mountain",
with one of his more intimiate and rewarding new routes on a lower Himalyan
Peak, Annapurna III, India's Saf Minal. It included the usual mix of
pictures, videos, music and humour.
