Grated Icebergs
In 2007 a team of Manchester based climbers (including a few recognisable faces from the KMC)
headed out to the southern tip of Greenland in search of new routes and adventures.
This is the story of their trip, the experience of climbing on Prins Christian IV, their
successes and failures and some of the worst sunglasses in the northern hemisphere.
From first ascents of soaring crack-lines in the islands pristine granite to gruelling days
climbing some of the most remote peaks in the world via a misguided attempt to build a dinghy
using some of the expedition barrels this presentation will bring to life the realities of climbing
in one of the most challenging environments on earth.

Sun in Egypt/Ice in Norway
by Mike Hutton

Those of you who have heard Mike lecture before know that he can spill a good yarn and since he
has just set up as a professional photographer his pictures should be even better than usual.
