Presidents Hot Pot and Slide Show

37 KMC folk turned out for the meal plus a further 8 not requiring food.

There were high quality entries in all categories which were anonymised by The President who did not take a significant part in the judging process. 2016 was the first year we have had an all women judging panel: Philippa Maye and Sue Marsden: both visual artists and members of Clipped In - an artists collective of KMC members. If you have never visited the website before see http://clippedin.wix.com/clipped-in2. If you would like to see the work in full please await further news of the exhibition at Castle Park (Frodsham) art gallery in late may and June 2016.

Although there were no official entries in the new video category we showed a selection of short clips / films from members:

Colin Maddison: Moan, Moan, Moan

Mary Stuart: Total Control

Roisin Maddison: Norway - a second a day

and ''The Ten Edges Challenge''

A brilliant 15 minute proper film directed by Outdoor Meets Secretary Dan O'Brien in his alter-ego of Helmet of Doom productions.

The film also served as a promo/warning, for the upcoming bit of KMC crazyness of the summer: a re-run of the Ten Edges Challenge. See the May newsletter and website for details.
