Inbhirfhaolain Hut - Glen Etive

Bob Kelly

The Grampian Club's hut in Glen Etive is an excellently situated.

At OS Grid Ref: NN158 507 it is about 7 miles down the minor road to Loch Etive from the junction of the A82 Tyndrum to Fort William Road.

A full description of the hut and its facilities can be found here:

http://www.grampianclub.org/about-the-grampian-club/club-properties/the-club-hut

The club has the whole hut booked so 13 places at £8 per night.

The hillwalking posibilities, actually walking from the hut, are excellent with Ben Starav being the classic.  There are eight Munros within
walking distance and a clutch of Corbetts.

As a rock climbing venue it is also excellent with the famous Trilleachan Slabs nearby.

[Watch this space for a more full rock climbing possiblities]

Our President intends to be greedy (or he can't make his mind up) with a day of rock climbing, a day's Munro walking and a days
winter (surely spring) climbing on the Ben.

Your more 'umble meet leader will be doing what he usually does on these occasions and any company will be most welcome.
