Within the various constraints of being in Wales repairing roofs, bedridden with various hangovers, the peregrines and finally the rain - quite a few routes got cleaned up.  Probably, by a smidgen, the most interesting route was Guano Gully.  Although the guano has long ago been swept off by falling climbers the remainder of the route is present and distinctly correct, still performing it's role of impromptu climber dispenser.

There was the traverse between K.P. Nuts and Snap Crackle and Andy Popp, the Lower Tier Boulders, Fledgling’s Climb, numerous passages of the Chalkstorm slabs, Sky Line jaunts and a Flake Chimney / Straight Crack combo.

On the upper tier the guardians of the winged beasties were full of information, armed with optical goodies and sledgehammers for the hard of hearing. The end tally being a good morning's session on rock.

Meet Promo:

This fine crag is an excellent venue for many activities. My own tipple will be a spot of climbing with a dash of bouldering and I'll start off at the upper tier, under the seductive Sloth. I'll be there from 10.30 and will be happy to see you whatever you're doing.

If you're bouldering amongst the clouds or strolling along the escarpments on a grand tour or parapenting along the edge partaking of the Macclesfield circular, just ease the pace a little and give me a wave. No booking required, just live for the day and go for it.

Everyone's welcome, so see you there.

Dave.

P.S. Let me know if you've lifts to offer or you're looking for a lift.
