Upper Eskdale Camp at Sampson's Stones (NY217 053) then do whatever takes your fancy. There's lot's of walking, classic climbing and bouldering at the front door but it's a long way to the pub. Leave your car at Cockley Beck. Make your way up Mosedale; cross Lingcove Beck then WNW behind Throstlehow Crag into Upper Eskdale where you will need to cross the River Esk which can be tricky if the water is high.  Bring a trowel!
