UKC describes Millstone as "The greatest of all the gritstone quarries with sheer walls, stunning smooth corners and crack lines that are pure inspiration"...

I'm not entirely sure what that means but what I can tell you is that we will be meeting at the Embankment area around 10.30 for hopefully a sunny day without too many midges.  If Millstone is a bit ambitious in terms of grade then there is also Lawrencefield nearby with a few more friendly routes.

If I recall correctly the Car Park at Surprise View is pay-and-display so bring some cash and share lifts if you don't want to fork out too much on your own.
