Llandulas Cave
In attendance: Caro C, Steven Lopacki, Harry Potts, Becca G, Cassia M
Prospective: Will Fitzmaurice
I was concerned midges, humidity and/or rain might hamper play, but it turned out lovely! Highlights include Steven warming up on a 6c instead of a 6A+ and Harry sending Becca up her first 6A+ lead outdoors which led to her first sport fall which she managed really well.
Routes du jour:
Harry: 6b+ field of dreams or wall of nightmares felt more fitting description as Steven led it due to its soapy start. Becca described the crux as “bleak nothingness”
Steven: Ralarwdins 6b+ - confirmed it was a superb route as guidebook suggests. Decided to go left and turned down the amazing looking but definitely 7b finish.
Becca : Clipterfyn 5c
Caro & Cassia: Inside the cave Rosalyn franklins picture 51
Will: Doomside Up (7a) in the cave
Other noteworthy observations include Cassia describing the location as exotic, which was surely thanks to the sunny weather. A pleasant pint was had by the beach before a paddle in the sea for some.

10:30 start.
Can be damp and midgy infested so might be more weather dependent than normal.
Another A55 crag could be a better option if damp and midgies prevail.
