Located in north Bolton, Wilton 3 is one of the four gritstone quarries making up the Wilton quarry complex. While not as extensive as Wilton 1, it offers shorter routes with a variety of routes in the lower grades with many being located on Orange Wall, such as Orange Crack (HS 4b), Orange Groove (VD) and Orange Corner (HVD). You could even have a go at Orange Squash (E3 6a) if you’re feeling brave!
Access is managed by Bolton Gun Club, with shooters having priority on a Wednesday - hence this week’s meet being moved to Thursday.
Parking is available along the side of Scout Road or in a small car park in front of the quarry entrance. 
I’ll be there from 4pm where we can hopefully make the most of the long evening. For those of us who fancy a post climb pint, the Wilton Arms is located a short drive away. Hopefully see you there
