Glen Brittle Youth Hostel, Skye

Unfortunately due to bad weather in Scotland, myself and Tommy decided to go to Typowdr instead and have some local fun.

On Saturday, we set to do Milestone approach, Milestone continuation, Notch arete and finish off with topping Tryfan. All moving together.

We did not escape bad weather (rain and hail) with occasional ray of sunshine, but we managed to complete the climbs at the small price of no 2 dmm nut left behind.

The quote of the day: at least it's not raining!

On Sunday the weather turned for a great warm (ish) and sunny day. We ventured to Dinas Cromlech and climbed Flying Buttress, swinging the leads. On the way back, we watched some climbers on Cenopath Corner wall and admirer their skills and set ig big b...

Although the meet didn't worked out as intended, we both had loads of fun.

Meet Promo:

Beautiful valley at the foothill of Black Cuilin hills.

It's a great base for hiking, scrambling, climbing or cycling.

And if you'd prefer more leisurely time, you could explore everything Isle of Skye has to offer - beautiful beaches, several lighthouses, quirky towns.

You can find dinosaur's footprints on An Corran beach, or walk on crushed white corals on Corral beach.

There's lots of options to choose from.

I managed to book 6 beds in Glenbrittle youth hostel (in a 10 bed dormitory) from Thursday 16/04/26 until Sunday 19/04/26 (3 nights, total is £98.25 per person)

The plan is to set off on Thursday around noon, drive to Isle of Skye (it's over 8h of driving).
