Welcome to the KMC, the Manchester mountaineering, rock climbing and walking club. We are very active, with meets every week of the year, including weekly midweek evening meets. At weekends, we run a wide range of adventurous meets all over the UK and abroad. Look at our meets list to find out what's happening and then come and join us to get to know the community.
You don't have to be a member to come along to a Meet; you will be welcomed as a prospective, so that you can get to know our club and members.

The club was founded in 1944 and has a rich history which has helped fostered friendships that last a lifetime.
Our members support each other and this process of informal skills sharing enables people to develop in all sorts of unexpected ways.
